The mall kiosks shown on this page are examples of commercial items Architectural Elements can fabricate.

The top kiosk was designed for Mall Vision USA. Kiosks are two sided, featuring back to back commercial grade Pioneer plasma screen displays. The sound system is MP3 driven and has stereo on both sides.  The kiosks have scintillating LEDs provided by LED Effects scattered on the bodies to attract attention to the advertising device.  The plasma screens receive a digital signal from the commercial grade Pioneer DVD players.  The kiosks run advertisements for paying clients and offer services such as mall maps and store directories to the mall customers.

The kiosks are fabricated from aluminum but are still quite heavy.  To transport them, Joe Clark designed and fabricated the aluminum cart shown above.  The cart features casters mounted to hinging plates.  The caster plates have sockets that accept a lever bar for safely lowering and raising the heavy kiosks onto the cart's casters.  Once the kiosk is raised, locking pins are inserted into the gussets through the legs, holding it in the transport position.  After transport in the specially designed Mall Vision trailer, the kiosk is rolled into the mall.

The kiosk pictured below was redesigned and fabricated by Joe Clark of Architectural Elements.  The new design was simplified but still offers and eye catching look, appearing to defy gravity. The sturdy support structure is fabricated from heavy-wall rectangle tube steel. Both kiosks are finished with durable powder coated finishes.
